Porcelain Fused to MetalPorcelain Fused to Metal (PFM) restorations are still the most prescribed restorative

treatment alternative to date. Here at Glendale Implant and Esthetic Dental Laboratory, we are committed to providing our clients with a broad range of services.

We offer several different types of metal, including noble and hi-noble, with which we fabricate all of our substructures.

The types of porcelain we use are Noritake and Avanta, which are micro-crystal porcelains. Both Noritake and Avanta porcelains blend in with the patient's natural dentition for outstanding esthetics while providing great strength and durability.

Porcelain margins are recommended for most anterior cases, which can dramatically improve the esthetic result by enabling natural light to penetrate at the gingival margins.

There are still a handful of dentists who believe that Feldspathic porcelain allows technicians

to create veneers that are far more natural looking than the best pressed veneers.Feldspathic veneers can be fabricated as thin as 0.4mm, and the translucency of these dental veneers allows for the reflection of the underlying natural tooth color. By layering Noritake VX-3 porcelain, our porcelain technician will be able to recreate nature's intended beauty back to your patient's smile. If you have never used Feldspathic porcelain for one of your veneer restorations then you must try a case to realize its true beauty.

Flowable or Duel Composite system

GIE FZ Crown BridgeGIE Full Zirconia is a high translucency and esthetic monolithic zirconia, is either used for posteriors or anteriors.
Our 10 shade zirconia blocks ensure greater shade consistency which maintains the color after and adjustments.  Again our anterior zirconia blocks with high translucent are designed to satisfy the function and esthetic region of our cosmetic cases.

Lava™ restorations are made with Lava™ Zirconia and are designed and milled with the innovative Lava™ CAD/CAM system. The combination of materials used and the precise milling process produce a strong restoration with excellent marginal integrity. Lava™ crowns and bridges also offer a beautifully natural translucency in addition to their strength and marginal fit.

Not all Zirconia restorations are the same and other zirconias may be chemically similar to Lava, but once processed, the mechanical and optical characteristics can be significantly different. At GIE Dental Laboratory we are committed to excellence and we therefore use Noritake CZR porcelain for all of our Lava™ crown and bridges restorations.

Noritake CZR luster porcelain exhibits minimal wear to the opposing dentition and assures the natural reflection of opalescence or translucency that you are looking for. The combination of CZR and Lava™ will provide your restorations enhanced esthetics, a great marginal fit and the maximum strength available.
