Production Turnaround Guide
Production Logistics
Built for the fit.
This document outlines standard processing schedules for fixed restorations, implant configurations, removable prosthodontics, and preventive appliances. Timelines detailed below denote internal In-Lab Working Days and exclude external courier transit loops, weekends, or statutory holidays.
Logistical Advantage: Submitting raw STL engineering datasets from an Intraoral Scanner (IOS) bypasses model-room configurations entirely (pouring stone, matrix pin adjustments, and optical table scanning). Digital workflows route immediate files straight to Nesting and Multi-Axis Milling operations, consistently compressing turnaround brackets.
⚠️ Rush Case Protocol: All catalog cases can be accelerated upon request. Expedited rushing will incur an additional rush fee billed per unit, scaled relative to the mechanical complexity and material constraints of the case. Please contact clinical operations directly to authorize rush scheduling.
01 / Fixed Crown & Bridge
| Restoration Paradigm | Digital IOS (In-Lab) | Physical Case (In-Lab) | Lab Engineering Protocol |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monolithic Zirconia (PureZi) Full-contour, multi-translucent high-strength solid units. | 5 Days | 7 Days | Direct CAD/CAM processing, high-speed multi-axis milling, and high-temperature thermal sintering. |
| Layered Ceramic / PFM Porcelain-fused-to-metal or hand-stacked aesthetic profiles. | 7 Days | 10 Days | Manual porcelain stacking, layering, matrix bakes, and structural glazing restrict physical compression. |
| Multi-Unit Fixed Bridge (3+ Units) Splinted structures for spanning complex spans. | 7 Days | 10 Days | Requires strict manual articulation checks on models to avoid structural distortion over long arches. |
02 / Implant Restorations
| Restoration Paradigm | Digital IOS (In-Lab) | Physical Case (In-Lab) | Lab Engineering Protocol |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock Abutment & Crown Prefabricated original manufacturer components and interfaces. | 7 Days | 10 Days | Subject to standard component inventory availability and component sizing. |
| Custom Abutment & Crown Patient-specific emergence contour designed via CAD. | 10 Days | 10 Days | Custom CAD software configuration of emergence profile followed by specialized milling of raw titanium blanks. |
| Screw-Retained Hybrid (All-on-X) Complex fixed multi-unit structural frames. | Call for Estimate | Call for Estimate | High-precision industrial geometric milling. Analog tracks require verified stone verification jigs to assure passivity. |
03 / Removable Prosthodontics
| Diagnostic / Processing Phase | Digital IOS (In-Lab) | Physical Case (In-Lab) | Lab Engineering Protocol |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cast Partial Framework Try-In Chrome-Cobalt or alloy structural internal skeletons. | 5 Days | 7 Days | Digital models are designed in CAD and direct resin-printed for casting or generated via Selective Laser Sintering (SLS). |
| Teeth Setup Wax Try-In Aesthetic diagnostics and verification of vertical occlusal dimension. | 5 Days | 7 Days | Digital setups can formulate a clean, monolithic printed preview block. Analog tracks require manual base setups. |
04 / Preventive & Orthodontic Appliances
| Appliance Variant | Digital IOS (In-Lab) | Physical Case (In-Lab) | Lab Engineering Protocol |
|---|---|---|---|
| Occlusal Splints / Nightguards Hard, soft, or combination dual-laminate protection layers. | 5 Days | 5 Days | Designed digitally and milled from solid, high-density PMMA disks or 3D-printed with medical resins to safeguard warp limits. |
| Orthodontic Retainers Essix clear thermoplastics or standard wired Hawley configurations. | 4 Days | 4 Days | Digital files yield an instant 3D-printed diagnostic model for deep pressure-molding. Analog setups must wait on complete stone setting. |
